THE STORY

Needing to replace an aging 30-gallon hot water heater booster pump, a Contract & Procurement Specialist received 2 separate bids to complete work, both including materials and installation. Not content with the initial bids, the Contract & Procurement Specialist contacted her Account Buyers Access Manager to obtain additional bids.

Taking a different approach, the Buyers Access Account Manager and Member Services team sourced required materials through a dedicated supplier partner, and then identified local plumbers to fulfill installation labor for the client. All resulting in a large win for the client!
